We help neighbors move from hardship toward hope.
Faithful Hands & Hope Collective Society exists to support individuals and families facing homelessness and hardship by providing food, essentials, street outreach, and community‑rooted care that helps people move toward stability and hope.
We serve through food and essentials, street support, learning opportunities, and community care. Each program is designed to meet people with respect and walk alongside them at a human pace.

Meet Our Founder
Mark Joshi – Founder & Executive Director
For more than 15 years, I built a successful career in the telecommunications industry, helping connect people in an ever-changing world.
Today, I dedicate my time, energy, and heart to serving homeless and displaced individuals in our communities.
As a published author in the field of politics, I have spent years examining the issues that shape our society and advocating for meaningful conversations about change.
Writing has allowed me to explore the challenges facing our communities, but my work on the ground has taught me that lasting change begins with compassion, understanding, and a willingness to walk alongside others on their journey.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: we are all connected. When one person struggles, we all have an opportunity to show kindness. When someone feels forgotten, we can remind them that they matter. When hope seems lost, even the smallest act of compassion can help light the way forward.
My mission is not only to help meet immediate needs, but to restore hope, inspire purpose, and help people rediscover their own strength and worth. I believe every person deserves to be seen, valued, and given the opportunity to build a brighter future.
Whether through community outreach, advocacy, writing, or simply being present for those who need someone to listen, I strive to live a life rooted in compassion, integrity, and service. Above all, I believe that when we lead with love, empathy, and faith in one another, we can build stronger communities and transform lives, one person at a time.

Kathy Joshi – Director
Kathy Joshi brings over 10 years of retail and management experience to Faithful Hands & Hope Collective Society. Throughout her career, Kathy has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership, customer service, team development, and community engagement.
With a passion for helping others and a deep belief in the power of compassion, Kathy plays a vital role in guiding the organization's mission to support vulnerable individuals and families. Her extensive experience in managing teams, building relationships, and creating positive environments has equipped her with the skills needed to lead with both integrity and purpose.
Kathy believes that every person deserves dignity, respect, and the opportunity to thrive. Through her work with Faithful Hands & Hope Collective Society, she is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing hardship, while helping to build stronger, more connected communities.

Matthew Joshi – Director & Resource Manager
Matthew brings over eight years of experience with the Surrey School District, where Matthew developed a strong foundation in operations, resource coordination, and community support. Throughout Matthew's career, a commitment to service, organization, and helping others has remained at the heart of every role.
As Director and Resource Manager for Faithful Hands & Hope Collective Society, Matthew oversees the coordination of resources, partnerships, and community support initiatives that help the organization effectively serve individuals and families in need. Matthew's experience working within a large public-sector environment has provided valuable skills in planning, problem-solving, relationship building, and ensuring resources reach those who need them most.
Passionate about strengthening communities and creating opportunities for positive change, Matthew believes that meaningful impact is achieved through collaboration, compassion, and responsible stewardship. Through dedication and service, Matthew works to ensure the organization's programs operate efficiently while maintaining a focus on dignity, respect, and hope for every person served.

Joanne Watson brings over 23 years of experience in community foundations, outreach initiatives, project coordination, event management, public speaking, and grant development. Hailing from the United Kingdom, Joanne brings a wealth of experience in organizational leadership and community development. Throughout her career, she has been committed to fostering collaboration, supporting community initiatives, and helping organizations achieve sustainable growth. Her dedication to service and positive community impact makes her a valued member of Faithful Hands & Hope Collective Society.
An accomplished consultant and expert bid and grant writer, Joanne has successfully secured funding for numerous projects and programs, helping organizations expand their reach and maximize their impact. Her extensive experience coordinating community initiatives and public events has enabled her to build strong partnerships and create meaningful opportunities for engagement and positive change.
As Director and Lead Consultant of Faithful Hands & Hope Collective Society, Joanne provides strategic guidance, funding expertise, and organizational leadership that help advance the society's mission of supporting vulnerable individuals and strengthening communities.

Michael Brough – Director & Lead Ambassador
Michael is a devoted husband, father of four, skilled tradesman, and community-minded individual who believes that a meaningful life is measured by how we serve and care for others. His background in both social work and the skilled trades has given him a unique perspective, combining compassion for people with practical problem-solving and a strong work ethic.
Throughout his career, Michael has worked closely with individuals with special needs and has developed a deep appreciation for the dignity and value of every person. His work in steel fabrication has further strengthened his creativity, craftsmanship, and ability to turn ideas into something tangible and lasting.
A lifelong creator at heart, Michael enjoys building, designing, cooking, and exploring new ways to bring ideas to life. Whether through his trade, artistic projects, or community involvement, he finds purpose in learning, creating, and helping others.
At the center of Michael's life is his faith in Jesus Christ. His faith shapes his commitment to family, service, and compassion, inspiring him to support those facing challenges and to treat everyone with dignity and respect. He strives to live by a simple principle: use what you've been given, care for the people around you, and leave things a little better than you found them.
